Apple jelly with caramelized apples

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 sheets of gelatin
  • 20 g sugar
  • 80 g apples, roughly diced
  • 10 g sugar
  • 50 ml apple juice
  • 2 g citric acid
  • 5 g raisins (rum raisins)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

As a dessert or for cakes

Soak the gelatin in cold water. Caramelize 20g of sugar in a pan and glaze the apple cubes in it. Let cool. Mix 10g of sugar with the apple juice and bring to a boil. Dissolve the citric acid in 1 teaspoon of water and add to the apple juice. Bring back to a boil. Stir in the gelatin and let cool. Fold in the caramelized apples and the rum-infused raisins.
