Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 apples
  • 2 bulb(s)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 150 ml apple juice
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp pistachios, chopped
  • ½ vanilla pod(s)
  • 250 g sour milk, low-fat
  • 150 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 tbsp sugar or honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Sin-free dessert

Peel and core the apples and pears, then dice them. Drizzle with lemon juice. Bring the apple juice (except for 30 ml) and sugar to a boil. Add the fruit and simmer for a few minutes. Mix the cornstarch with the 30 ml of apple juice to thicken the compote. Let cool and fold in the pistachios. Mix the sour milk and low-fat quark well, stir in the vanilla bean pulp, and season with sugar or honey. Layer the compote and sour cream alternately in glasses and serve. Tip: You can also omit the pistachios and add a little cinnamon instead.
