Apple-Lemon Iced Tea

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 700 ml water, boiling
  • 1 handful of lemon balm, fresh
  • 200 ml apple juice, naturally cloudy
  • 1 small lemon(s), the juice
  • some lemon balm
  • n. B. Lemon(s), sliced
  • n. B. ice cubes

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 10 minutes

Pour boiling water over the lemon balm and let it steep for 10 minutes, until the water turns light green and smells faintly of lemon. Strain the lemon balm. Add the lemon juice and apple juice. Let it cool for about 2-3 hours. Strain into glasses with ice cubes and serve with lemon balm and a lemon slice.
