Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 ½ cm fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 liter orange juice, freshly squeezed or bought, refrigerator cold
  • n. B. ice cubes

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 12 minutes

refreshing on hot summer days

Heat the water with the finely chopped ginger in a saucepan and simmer for at least 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool (in the refrigerator if necessary). Pour the ginger tea and orange juice into a pitcher and add the ice cubes. This drink is very refreshing on hot summer days and is healthy. You can vary the ratio of ginger tea to juice according to your taste.
