Apple Nutella muffins

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 large apples
  • 75 g sugar
  • ½ packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 125 g natural yogurt
  • 1 egg(s), size M
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 125 g flour
  • 25 g cornstarch
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 ½ tbsp Nutella
  • some butter flakes
  • n. B. cinnamon sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

small portion, for 6 to 8 pieces

Peel and core the apples. Cut about 6-8 slightly wider slices from 2 apples and set aside, then cut the rest into small cubes. Grate the third apple. In a mixing bowl, first beat the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, yogurt, and egg until creamy. Then stir in the oil and grated apple. Add the flour, cornstarch, and baking soda and mix well. Then stir in the Nutella and the prepared apple cubes. Spoon the batter into prepared muffin cups, place an apple slice on each muffin, sprinkle with a little cinnamon sugar if desired, and place a knob of butter on top. Bake the muffins in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for about 25-30 minutes. These muffins are very quick to prepare, even if you don’t need a large batch.
