Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup(s) milk
  • 2 large apples
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • n. B. Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Recipe from my grandma

First, whisk together the flour, sugar, eggs, milk, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. In another bowl, grate the apples (you can also slice them thinly if you prefer a more apple flavor) and then add them to the batter. Mix everything together again, while heating a pan. Add a little oil to the hot pan. Carefully pour the batter into the pan with a ladle. Check the browning occasionally with a spatula. When the desired browning is achieved, flip the apples and cook the other side until golden brown.
