  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 50 g honey
  • e.g. milk
  • 3 apples
  • e.g. butter
  • n. B. cinnamon sugar
  • 30 g almond sticks or almond flakes
  • 5 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 pinch of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

First, prepare the sauce. To do this, mix the crème fraîche, sugar, cinnamon, and honey with a little milk until smooth and chill. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Peel, quarter, and core the apples, then halve the quarters again. Melt plenty of butter in a pan and layer the apple quarters nicely. Sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar, and almonds and place in the hot oven for 10 minutes. For the batter, beat the eggs until frothy. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Now combine everything. Remove the hot pan from the oven, carefully pour the batter over the apples, and bake for another 20-25 minutes. Serve the pancakes with the ice-cold honey sauce. Enjoy!
