Apple peanut butter snack with walnuts

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 apple
  • 2 tsp peanut butter
  • 1 handful of walnuts
  • some lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

A power snack for in between meals. This recipe is very simple, but a vitamin-packed treat.

Roughly peel the apple’s skin in a circle, but don’t discard the peel. Sprinkle the apple with lemon juice to prevent it from turning brown. You can use fresh lemon or lemon concentrate; the effect is the same. Cut the apple in half and spread generously with peanut butter. Add the walnuts and stack the halves on top. Spread a little more peanut butter on top of the apple, roll up the peel, and place it on top. An ideal power snack for work or between meals. The apple can also be transported in a mason jar, so you can enjoy it anywhere.
