Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 apples
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 1 banana(s)
  • 2 bulb(s)
  • 300 ml water
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 1 pack of gelling sugar (2:1) or gelling fix

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Fruity delight with fresh vanilla pod, also tastes good with yogurt, rice pudding, semolina porridge and the like.

Peel the fruit, cut it into small pieces, and place it in a large saucepan. Then drizzle with lemon juice. Add the water, scrape out the vanilla pod, and add the seeds and the empty pod whole. Bring everything to a boil. Add the gelling sugar or gelling agent according to the instructions on the package. Simmer the mixture for 10-20 minutes while stirring. Remove the vanilla pod. Then puree everything with a hand blender. If you like, you can do a setting test to ensure it turns into puree and not jam. While it’s still hot, pour the puree into prepared jars, seal them tightly, and turn them upside down for five minutes.
