Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 200 g margarine
  • 250 g sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 350 g flour
  • 1 baking powder
  • 2 kg apples
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the apples and cut them into small pieces. Mix the remaining ingredients into a batter. Fold the apple pieces into the batter. Spread on a greased baking sheet and bake at medium heat for about 30 minutes. Mix the powdered sugar with hot water to form a thin glaze and spread it on the still-hot cake.
