with amaretti crumbs

Prepare the shortcrust pastry and let it rest in the refrigerator for about an hour. In the meantime, peel and slice the apples, and mix them well with the sugar, amaretti crumbs, nuts, raisins, rum, and cinnamon. Roll out half of the pastry and place it in a greased and floured 26 cm tart pan. Raise the edges to about 3 cm. Spread the apple filling on top. Roll out the remaining pastry and cut out circles (using a biscuit cutter) and arrange them in a swirl pattern on top of the apple filling. Brush with beaten egg and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (fan oven) for about 35 minutes. Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
