Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 80 g butter
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 300 g apples, grated
  • 200 g flour (instant flour)
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of clove(s), ground
  • 50 g raisins
  • Jam (blackcurrant jelly)
  • Cake icing (chocolate icing)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with chocolate coating

Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy, then gradually add the eggs, cocoa powder, baking powder, flour, raisins, spices, and finally the grated apples. Pour the batter into a greased and floured springform pan and bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes. Spread the cooled cake with redcurrant jelly and top with the chocolate icing.
