Apple pie from the tray

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g butter or margarine, soft
  • 350 ml milk
  • e.g. apples
  • 100 g butter, cold
  • 100 g sugar – cinnamon – mixture
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Gently heat the milk, crumble in the yeast, and dissolve it. Sift the flour into a bowl. Make a well in the center for the yeast mixture, then pour in the yeast mixture. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and softened butter, and mix with the dough hook of a hand mixer until you have a smooth dough. Spread the dough on a greased baking sheet and let it rise in a warm place for 30 to 45 minutes. Meanwhile, slice the apples, cut the butter into small pieces, and prepare the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Lightly press the apple slices evenly into the dough, scatter the butter over the dough, and sprinkle everything with the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Bake in a preheated oven (electric oven 175°C, gas mark 3) for 25 to 35 minutes.
