Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 125 g flour
  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 apples (Boskoop)
  • Sugar
  • powdered sugar
  • butter flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Combine the batter ingredients in a sponge mixture and pour it into a 26cm springform pan. Peel and quarter the apples, remove the cores, and cut the apple quarters into thin wedges. Cover the batter tightly with the wedges and sprinkle with sugar and butter flakes. Bake in the oven on the second rack at 160°C (convection oven) for about 45 minutes. Dust the cake with powdered sugar before serving.
