Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g cane sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 3 m.-sized eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 500 g apples, 4 – 5 pieces
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pack of orange peel
  • Fat, for the shape
  • Powdered sugar, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

For 12 pieces

Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) top and bottom heat. Grease a springform pan. Peel the apples and slice them into wedges. Combine all the ingredients for the batter and pour into a springform pan. Arrange the apples in a ring or fan shape on the batter and bake on the middle rack for 40 minutes. (Test with a skewer before adding the apples.) Remove from the springform pan and place on a wire rack, dusting with powdered sugar. This cake also tastes delicious warm. Serve with whipped cream. This recipe also works with other fruits. I’ve tried plums and cherries.
