Ground :

  • 150 g Flour
  • 75 g Food starch
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 150 g Margarine
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 Egg yolk

Covering:

  • 3 Apples

Meringue topping

  • 3 Egg Whites
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 175 g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Mix the agarine, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Add eggs and stir for another 5 minutes. Mix the flour with the baking powder and cornstarch and mix everything well. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan.
  • Peel and core the apples. Then cut into cubes and spread on the dough. Bake the cake in the oven for 40 minutes at 180 ° C.
  • During this time, beat the egg whites with sugar and salt until stiff. Then add the lemon juice and cinnamon, whip everything up again.
  • Take out the cake, put the meringue on top, and bake again for 25 minutes. Take out of the oven and let cool down a bit.
