Apple sheet cake with nut crumble

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g flour
  • 60 g margarine
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 20 g yeast
  • 200 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 ½ kg apples, sour
  • Fat for the mold
  • 200 g flour
  • 200 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 120 g sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 160 g butter or margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk and mix with a teaspoon of the sugar. Keep warm for about 10 minutes. Mix the remaining sugar, salt, egg, and vanilla sugar with the margarine and yeast mixture. Add the flour. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 35-45 minutes. Grease the baking tray well. Knead the dough again and roll it out. Place the rolled out dough on the baking tray. Peel the apples, quarter them, and cut them into 0.5 cm thick slices. Place the apples on the dough. Combine the flour, hazelnuts, sugar, cinnamon, and butter or margarine to form a crumble and spread it over the apples. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 25-35 minutes.
