Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 150 g flour
- 1 pinch(s) of baking powder
- some lemon zest, grated
- 2 apples, diced
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, adding the vanilla sugar and grated lemon zest along with a pinch of salt. Gradually add the sifted sugar and stir in. Then stir the egg yolks into the batter. Mix the flour and baking powder together and fold in the sifted mixture. Stir in the apples. Grease and flour a Bundt pan. Pour in the batter and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 40-45 minutes. Let cool slightly and turn out. Sprinkle with cocoa powder and icing sugar.
