Ingredients

  • 2 piece Puff pastry e.g. from Schär
  • 4 piece Apples
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Freshly squeezed lemon
  • 100 g Sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place a sheet of puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Peel, core and grate the apples. Mix with cinnamon, sugar and lemon juice. Spread the mixture on the puff pastry and leave about 1cm free around the edge. Whisk the egg and brush the edge of the puff pastry with it. Put on the second sheet of puff pastry and press lightly on the edge with a fork. Spread the remaining egg on the puff pastry. Cut into strips with a knife. Bake at 180 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes on medium heat. Tastes very tasty with vanilla ice cream, vanilla sauce or fresh cream.
