Ingredients

  • 5 Sour big apples
  • 3 tbsp Ground almonds
  • 1 tsp Cinammon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Finest sugar
  • 1 dL Cream
  • 1 pack Baking marzipan approx. 150 gr.
  • A little milk to dissolve the baking marzipan mass

Instructions

  • Roll out the puff pastry roll in a round sheet of about 28 and cut out the dough tightly with a fork.
  • Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Prepare the apples into fine wedges and drizzle with a little lemon juice so that they don't brown too quickly
  • Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of ground almonds on the dough. Place the prepared apple schnapps over the dough like a zigzag.
  • Dissolve the baking marzipan with a little hot milk and pour it over the apples, then blast the tray in the oven for 15 minutes
  • For the icing: whisk the egg with the cream, the spices and the sugar and pour over the apples
  • 40-45 minutes of baking! Until the cake turns nice and brown!
  • Since it had to be quick, I served the cake lukewarm!
