Apple, topped with goat cheese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 apples
  • 8 slices of goat’s cheese (from the goat’s cheese roll, approx. 0.5 cm thick)
  • 2 tsp thyme, dried
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • Butter, in flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Perfect and quick starter

Peel the apples and core them. Then cut them into 8 even slices, about 1 cm thick. Place the goat cheese slices on top. Sprinkle a few knobs of butter, some thyme, and brown sugar on each goat cheese. Bake at 180°C for about 10 minutes. I check every now and then to see how much the cheese has melted. The cheese should be soft, but not run off the apple slices. I allow 2 slices per person. Garnish with salad, for example, if desired.
