Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 large apple or 2 small ones
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp sugar, possibly brown
- 1 tsp rum, alternatively Amaretto
- some cinnamon
- 1 pinch of clove powder
- 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 550 ml milk

something different and very tasty
Peel and dice the apple. Combine it with 1 teaspoon of sugar, rum, and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Sauté on medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in the cinnamon and clove powder. Set aside. Pour 500 ml of milk into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar with the custard powder and 50 ml of milk; I always do this in a shaker. When the milk boils, stir in and simmer on low heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until thickened. Mix in the apple mixture and ladle the dessert into serving bowls. Delicious hot or cold. This quantity makes 3 bowls or 4 small glasses.
