Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g margarine
  • 70 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 6 apples (peeled, sliced)
  • 375 ml juice (multivitamin juice)
  • 375 ml wine, white or sparkling wine
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 pts. pudding powder, vanilla
  • 2 cups of cream
  • Almond(s), sliced
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 1 hour 40 minutes

Make a dough from flour, margarine, sugar, egg, and baking powder and pour it into a springform pan, pressing the dough up the sides as well. Place the peeled and sliced ​​apples on the dough. Cook the juice, wine, and custard powder as you would for regular pudding and pour over the apples. Bake the cake at 180°C for 1.5 hours. Let the cake stand for 24 hours. Before serving, whip two cups of cream and spread it over the apple mixture. Sprinkle the cake with almonds and cinnamon.
