  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 2 jars of applesauce
  • 1 packet of powdered sugar

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 20 minutes

Mix butter, sugar, eggs, flour, and baking powder into a batter and spread it on two baking sheets. Bake at 200°C for 15 minutes, then let it cool. Spread one layer with applesauce and place the second layer on top. Mix powdered sugar with lemon juice to make a glaze and pour it over the cake. Let the cake sit for a day.
