Applesauce sour cream cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 65 ml mineral water
  • 35 ml oil
  • 150 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 cup of cream, approx. 200 g
  • 1 ½ cup sour cream, approx. 300 g
  • 1 large jar of applesauce, approx. 500 g
  • 2 pinch(s) cinnamon sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 40 minutes

Preheat oven to 175°C (top/bottom heat). Line the bottom of a 24 cm springform pan with baking paper and grease the sides. Beat eggs and sugar until frothy. Add water and oil, and fold in flour and baking powder. Pour into the springform pan and bake for about 15 minutes, checking with a skewer. Let cool after baking. Whip cream until stiff peaks form. Add sour cream and stir until creamy. Place a baking ring around the bottom, spread applesauce on it, and carefully pour the cream and sour cream mixture over it. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and chill for a few hours. For a baking sheet, double the ingredients.
