Pasta with fig and beef sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pasta
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 100 ml red wine, dry
  • 4 figs
  • 1 can tomatoes, chopped, approx. 400 g
  • 200 g beef for frying
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • some olive oil

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

simple and fast, but something special

Finely chop the shallot and garlic and sauté in a little olive oil. Chop the figs into small pieces and add them. Stir to melt slightly. Cut the beef into flat, bite-sized pieces and add them as well. Brown briefly. Deglaze with the red wine, bring to a boil, then add the tomatoes. Meanwhile, prepare the pasta according to the package instructions. Finally, add the parsley to the sauce, mix the sauce and pasta, and serve on plates. The remaining red wine can be served as a drink.
