Apricot and Vanilla Jam with Thermomix

The perfect apricot and vanilla jam with thermomix recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1100 g Apricots
  • 2 Pc. Vanilla pods
  • 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
  • 2 Pc. Lemons, the juice of them
  • 2 cl Amaretto
  1. Quarter the washed and pitted apricots and place in the mixing bowl. Puree for approx. 30 seconds / at level 10. Slit open the vanilla pods lengthways and scrape out the pulp. Add together with the preserving sugar and lemon juice.
  2. Cook for 14 minutes at 100 degrees on level Put the cooking basket on top as a splash guard. Finally add the amaretto. Mix for 10 seconds on level 5.
  3. After the jelly test, pour the jam into prepared jars and close tightly.
