quick dessert

Make a cross-shaped incision in the apricots and pour hot water over them. Let them steep briefly, then remove them from the water and peel off the skin. Peel the banana and cut it into cubes. Place the apricots, bananas, sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon juice in a small blender or puree them finely with an immersion blender. Mix the quark in a bowl until smooth and stir in about 3/4 of the fruit mixture. Fill the fruit quark into serving bowls, add a dollop of the remaining fruit mixture on top, and refrigerate for about 20 minutes. The quark tastes best when well chilled. You can decorate it with colored sugar, brittle, or chocolate sprinkles at the end. Made without sugar, it is also very suitable for older babies and toddlers.
