Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg apricot(s), peeled and weighed
- 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)
- 3 sprigs of thyme or lemon thyme
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 12 hours 34 minutes
Quarter the cleaned and pitted apricots. Let stand overnight with 2 sprigs of thyme and the apricots. Remove the thyme and bring the apricots to a boil. Puree and mix with the gelling sugar. Bring to a boil. Strip the leaves from 1 sprig of thyme and add the leaves after 2 minutes of cooking. Pour into jars and seal tightly.
