Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 750 g strawberries
- 1 bunch peppermint
- ½ lemon(s)
- 250 g gelling sugar (3:1)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
for approx. 3 jars of 250 g each
Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Finely puree half of the strawberries and cut the other half into small pieces. Rinse the peppermint, pat dry, and finely chop the leaves. Place the strawberry puree and strawberry pieces in a large saucepan. Squeeze the lemon juice and stir in the gelling sugar. Bring the fruit and sugar mixture to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Let it simmer for about 4 minutes, then remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the peppermint and ladle the strawberry jam into clean twist-off jars.
