Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 75 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 125 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 3 tbsp cream
- 150 g flour
- ½ pack of baking powder
- 100 g butter
- 80 g sugar
- 80 g honey
- 2 tbsp cream
- 150 g almond(s) (flakes)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ orange(s), untreated, grated peel
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
For the batter, melt the butter. Beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Stir in the cooled butter and cream. Fold in the flour mixed with the baking powder. Pour the batter into a 26 cm springform pan and bake at approximately 200°C for approximately 10-15 minutes. For the topping, melt the butter. Add the sugar, honey, cream, flaked almonds, and spices, and bring to a boil briefly. Remove the cake from the oven, spread the topping, and bake for another 12-15 minutes.
