Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 5 cups of cream
- ½ bar of chocolate (Milka milk chocolate)
- 4 eggs
- 200 g sugar
- 1 vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 200 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 45 minutes
Gently warm a cup of cream in a kettle and dissolve the chocolate in it. Store the chocolate-cream mixture in a closed container in the refrigerator for one day. Make a sponge cake batter from eggs, sugar, salt, flour, and baking powder. Pour into a greased springform pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes. Once cooled, cut the base in half. Whip two cups of cream with half of the chocolate-cream mixture until stiff peaks form. Fill the cake with this mixture. Whip another two cups of cream with the remaining chocolate-cream mixture until stiff peaks form. Spread the mixture all over the cake and decorate with a cream pipe as desired.
