Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 10 potatoes, preferably floury
- 2 cups milk
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp butter

from the Roman pot
Peel and quarter the potatoes (or cut them even smaller depending on their size); place them in the soaked earthenware pot. Season with salt and pepper. Add the cold milk and close the earthenware pot. Place in the cold oven on the second rack from the bottom and bake at approximately 180°C until the potatoes are tender (approx. 1-1.5 hours). Then mash or stir the potatoes into small pieces. Done.
