Arugula salad with pear and Gorgonzola

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g arugula
  • 6 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 pear(s)
  • 100g Gorgonzola
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp walnuts, chopped
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 3 tbsp sugar

Very simple salad that tastes great and makes a nice starter

Caramelize the sugar in a small saucepan and deglaze with the balsamic vinegar. Peel the pear, cut it into eighths, and sauté it in the sugar and vinegar mixture for 2 minutes. Meanwhile, arrange the washed and trimmed arugula salad on the plates. Remove the pear slices from the pan and garnish them on the plates. If desired, add a little more vinegar and sugar to the sauce, add oil, and season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the salad and garnish with Gorgonzola pieces and chopped walnuts.
