Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g noodles (Asian fried noodles), or tagliatelle
- 400 g white cabbage
- 300 g carrot(s)
- 200 g celery
- 1 large onion(s)
- 2 beef steaks, 125 g each
- 1 Pepper
- 1 piece(s) ginger root, approx. 25 g
- 100 ml soy sauce
- 1 tsp vegetable broth powder
- 250 ml water
- 1 bunch of chives
- Cayenne pepper
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
with spicy vegetables and soy sauce
Cook the noodles in boiling water for about 5 minutes until al dente. Drain well. Trim and wash the white cabbage and cut into thin strips. Trim, wash and peel the carrots, and cut into sticks. Wash and slice the celery. Peel and roughly dice the onion. Wash the meat, pat dry, and cut into strips. Halve, deseed, wash, and very finely chop the bell pepper. Peel and very finely dice the ginger. Heat a little oil in a wok or frying pan. Brown the meat all over, then remove. Fry the cabbage, carrots, celery, and onion in the fat, stirring, for about 2 minutes. Season with pepper. Add the noodles, bell pepper, and ginger, and fry for another 3 minutes. Pour in the soy sauce and water, then add the meat. Stir in the stock and heat everything through again. Season with salt. Wash the chives, shake dry, and cut into rolls. Sprinkle over the fried noodles and serve.
