Green asparagus with bacon and puff pastry – tastes good hot and cold

Roll out the puff pastry and cut lengthwise into approximately 1 cm wide strips. Halve the bacon slices lengthwise and wrap each strip spirally around a spear of asparagus. Now wrap a strip of puff pastry around the asparagus so that it fills the spaces between the bacon. Repeat with the remaining asparagus spears. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with a beaten egg. Carefully season with salt and pepper and finally sprinkle with black sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top and bottom heat) for 18 minutes.
