Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 jar cherry(s)
  • 1 sachet of pudding powder (vanilla flavor) for cooking
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 1 bag of cream stiffener
  • 2 tbsp sugar (heaped tbsp)
  • 1 pack of dark chocolate shavings

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Mix the pudding mix with about 2 heaped tablespoons of sugar. Gradually stir in at least 6 tablespoons of the 1/2 liter of cold milk until smooth. Bring the remaining milk to a boil, remove from the heat, and stir in the mixed mix. Cook the pudding for at least 1 minute while stirring continuously. Allow the pudding to cool, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming. Drain the cherries in a sieve. Whip the cream with the cream stiffener until stiff. Now fold the cream into the cold vanilla pudding. It is recommended to mix everything in a large mixing bowl. Fold in the cherries and 3/4 of the chocolate shavings. Now transfer the pudding to a serving dish and sprinkle with the remaining chocolate shavings. Refrigerate the pudding for at least 2 hours.
