Australian Fruit Biscuits with Coconut

  • 100 g Sultanas
  • 100 g Figs dried
  • 50 g Candied cherries
  • 4 tbsp Flour
  • 0,5 tsp Baking powder
  • 125 g Soft butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 100 g Desiccated coconut
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 100 g Cornfllakes in sugar
  1. Dice the figs and cherries. Mix flour with baking powder and fold into the fruit.
  2. Mix the butter with salt until frothy, then beat with the egg until frothy. Stir in desiccated coconut and fruit mixture until a slightly cracking dough is formed; If necessary stir in milk. Mix in the corn flakes.
  3. Bake at 175 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. Let cool overnight on the wire rack, store airtight.
