Autumn vegetable smoked pork pot

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 turnip(s), approx. 1 – 1.2 kg each
  • 1 kohlrabi
  • 7 carrots
  • 3 apples
  • 1 sweet potato(s)
  • 3 onions
  • 400 g Kasseler (Kasseler salmon)
  • 500 ml water
  • 2 vegetable stock cubes
  • possibly salt
  • pepper
  • Marjoram, dried
  • 200 g herb cream cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

with turnip, apples, kohlrabi, carrots, sweet potato

Peel the vegetables and apples and cut into small cubes. Slice the onions into rings. Cut the smoked pork into small cubes. Place the ingredients in a large pot. Add the water, spices, and stock cubes. Bring the ingredients to a boil over high heat, then simmer over medium heat for 30-40 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. When the vegetables are soft, stir in the cream cheese, taste again, and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
