Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 800 g swede(s)
- 250 g sweet potatoes
- 250 g potatoes
- 250 g carrot(s)
- 1 apple
- 500 g smoked pork
- 3 sausages (cooked sausages)
- vegetable broth
- 2 onions
- salt and pepper
- Fat, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Cook the smoked pork in gently simmering water with a little salt for about 30 minutes, then cut into pieces. Cook the sausages in the same water. Cut the vegetables into large pieces. Heat the fat, sauté all the vegetables except the apple, then add the smoked pork broth and/or vegetable broth, and season with salt. Cook the vegetables, well covered, for about 20 minutes. About 8 minutes before the end of cooking, add the sliced apple. Add the smoked pork cubes and sausage slices. Season to taste; if you like, you can add more sausage broth. If it’s too thin, you can also puree some of the vegetables or stir in some mashed potato powder.
