Avocado and Herder Cheese Cream

The perfect avocado and herder cheese cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Ripe avocado
  • Lemon juice
  • 100 g Cream cheese
  • 100 g Low fat yogurt
  • 125 g Herder cheese
  • 1 big Garlic clove chopped
  • Pepper
  • Dried oregano
  • Dried rosemary
  • 1 tbsp Chopped parsley
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Possibly 1 tbsp pine nuts
  1. Cut the avocado in half lengthways, remove the stone, peel and cut into small pieces, place in a bowl and drizzle with lemon juice.
  2. Add the yoghurt, shepherd’s cheese (coarsely crumbled), cream cheese and garlic, puree with a fork or hand blender.
  3. Season with pepper, sugar, oregano, rosemary, parsley and possibly salt to taste.
  4. If you like, stir in roasted and chopped pine nuts.
