Halve the avocado, remove the pit, scoop out the flesh with a spoon, and pour the juice of half a lemon into a blender. This not only adds a fruity flavor but also prevents the avocado from turning gray. Peel the garlic and add it. Purée with a hand blender and season with salt, pepper, sugar, and lemon juice, if desired. Finally, mix in the chili flakes.
