Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g potatoes, floury
- 250 g carrot(s)
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- Milk
- butter
- Salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
- 4 slices of meat
- 2 eggs, size L
- Salt

- Breadcrumbs
- some sugar

Boil and peel the potatoes, then mash them. Peel and coarsely grate the carrots. Peel and finely dice the onion. Mash the onion and potatoes together. Cook the carrots in salted/sugar water for the same amount of time as the potatoes (preferably both at the same time), then drain the water and mix with the mashed potatoes. In the meantime, season, bread, and/or fry the meat. I like to use lard for frying and then use the fat as a gravy over the mashed potatoes.
