Baby's fruit and cereal porridge

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 large apple or 2 small, sweet varieties
  • 2 tbsp, heaped melt-in-the-mouth flakes, e.g. from Kölln
  • n. B. Milk powder (pre-milk), also possible with 1st milk
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with apple and melt-in-the-mouth flakes

Peel, core, and dice the apple. Place the apple cubes in a saucepan and cover with a little water, then bring to a boil. Boil for about 10-15 minutes, until the apple is slightly translucent. Drain the water and puree the apple pieces until they form a very fine puree. Set the apple puree aside and let it cool. Mix the pre-milk with the water as usual, following the instructions. My milk uses 60 ml and 2 tablespoons of powder. If you have enough breast milk, you can use that too. Pour the milk into a saucepan and add the instant flakes. Heat the milk with the instant flakes, stirring constantly with a whisk, and boil until boiling. The final consistency should be mushy. Finally, mix the instant flakes puree with 2 tablespoons of the apple puree and feed her with love. FYI: We feed this puree as an afternoon puree. We started using it when our little daughter was 6 months old. Depending on the taste of the little mice, other eastern varieties, such as pears, can also be used.
