Bacon and eggs in toast

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 slices of toast
  • 30 g butter, soft
  • 6 slice(s) bacon, or ham, smoked
  • 6 eggs
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Roll out the slices of toast with a wooden spoon as thinly as possible and spread them lightly with butter. Press the slices, buttered side down, into the holes of a 12-cup muffin tin, leaving one hole empty. Place a slice of bacon or ham in each hole and crack an egg into the center of the hole. Season with salt and pepper. Bake at 175 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for about 15 minutes.
