Bacon and Onion Cake

- 300 g Wheat flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 25 g Butter
- 100 ml Buttermilk
- Salt
- 1 size Vegetable onion
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 450 g Sour cream
- 100 g Finely grated mountain cheese
- 3 Eggs
- 1 tsp Caraway seed
- 100 g Mixed with bacon, sliced
- Salt and pepper
- For the topping, peel the onion and cut into rings. Heat the oil in a pan and simmer the onion rings until translucent.
- Stir the sour cream until creamy and mix with the cheese. Mix the mixture with the eggs and mix with the steamed onion rings. Season the onion mixture with caraway seeds, salt and pepper.
- For the dough, put the flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add the butter and buttermilk and a pinch of salt and knead everything well. Roll out the dough on a greased baking sheet or in a silicone mold (25 cm diameter).
