Bacon Cheese Sandwich

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of toast
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 slice(s) Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp butter
  • some oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Simple, delicious and quick to make

Heat the butter in a pan, lightly toast the toast on one side over medium heat for about 3 minutes, then remove from the pan. Place two slices of bacon next to each other, place one slice of toast, browned side up, in the middle of the bacon, and top with a slice of Cheddar. Sprinkle with a pinch of oregano. Now place the second slice of toast, browned side down, on top and fold over the bacon ends. Wrap the sandwich crosswise with the remaining 2 slices of bacon. This creates a parcel. Place the sandwich in the slightly preheated pan without any additional fat and let it brown over medium heat for 4-5 minutes, then flip. When the other side has also reached the desired brownness, the cheese in the center should be melted and the sandwich is ready.
