Bacon-wrapped banana

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 bananas
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp, leveled curry paste
  • 1 tbsp paprika paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

with honey-curry-paprika marinade

Peel the bananas and slice them the same width as the bacon. Mix the marinade ingredients and brush the banana pieces with it. Let the marinade soak in for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator. Then wrap the pieces in the bacon and secure with toothpicks. Now fry the banana pieces all over and enjoy. Tastes especially good from the grill; kids love it.
