Bacon yeast bread from the Peng bowl

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 250 ml milk
  • 50 ml oil
  • 150 g bacon, diced
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Shake the yeast and salt in a small, lidded saucepan until liquid. First add 200 grams of flour to the bowl, then the egg, milk, and oil, and finally the liquid yeast/salt mixture. Shake the bowl with the lid closed for about 2 minutes. Then add the remaining flour. Shake again. Then vent. Let the bowl stand in a warm place for about 20 minutes. Then fold in the bacon and grated cheese. Let the dough rise for another 20 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit). Lightly grease a cake tin and pour in the batter. Baking time is about 35-40 minutes.
