Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 170 g flour
- 80 g butter, cold
- 1 egg(s)
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp water
- Fat, for the shape
- 1 kg onion(s)
- 50 g lard
- 200 g bacon, lean, or dried meat
- 3 eggs
- ¼ liter cream
- 100 g quark
- 100 g flour
- Salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
Dough: Quickly knead the flour, butter, egg, and salt with 2 tablespoons of water to form a shortcrust pastry. Grease a 26cm springform pan. Roll out the dough and place it in the pan. Topping: Dice the onions. Sauté in butter and lard until translucent. Add the bacon and remove from the heat. Whisk the eggs, cream, and quark in a bowl until smooth, then sift the flour over the pan and stir in. Fold in the onion mixture and season with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg. Pour everything into the pan and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 35-40 minutes.
